Chapter 1 – My faMily

Am so proud to have a family who loves me.

It all started when I was born and had meet them for the first time in
my life, they gave me everything like-shelter, love and care. Am so
proud and grateful for the wonderful gift of a loving family.

As I grew up I learned a lot from them to know what’s between

wrong and right. I am actually used to my mom’s side because I
moved to Welkom and I was raised by my mom and granny. My dad
lives in Johannesburg. My family has been the for me many times
through the fights and problems. Were a family who love jokes,
vacations, and a whole bunch of nice things. I’ve gotten used the fact
that am not living with my dad at the moment but it’s nice when I get
to visit him and to spend a little time with him and my other siblings.
Were a family of 5 I love my family more than anything even though
my siblings love to annoy me and steal or brake my things. It’s good
to see that were good at the moment even though this COVID-19
pandemic am happy if my family is happy and that’s what brings us
together.
Chapter 2 – My first six years
My first six years have been crazy now that am turning into a
teenager!
It’s feels good now that I know what’s wrong and right, it’s a such a
experience that I look at all the photos and the memories at all the
crazy things I did as a child and learning new things.

Before the age one Is where I started walking and talking and that I
had a birthday party with people I didn’t recognize but I was happy.
at the time I was the only child. Age two was the age where I started
being naughty where I used wright on the walls I really think that was
the best moment where I could do anything I wanted but I knew I
was going to get a smack wherever it will hurt. This is when I started
going to school which my granny had chosen for me. I don’t have the
right words of what do wright because I can’t remember all the
things I did at that time. As I was going to school and growing up I
could speak English but not clearly at the time I was in preschool in
grade R and that’s when I started learning new things and meeting
new people though still I was shy.
Chapter 3 – My sChool Career
Years have past that now am in Grade 7.
I’ve been in St Dominic’s my whole life since I was a toddler. It all
started when it was 2014 where you would wear your uniform for
the first time and meeting new teachers that’s when I met Mrs
Gambale for the first time and my buddy.

I would not say I have all the details but each year does bring all the
memories of the good at bad times my goals were to always get
good marks for tests or exams there was a point where I would do
bad but what am proud of is that I got full colours for music.
Grade 5 is where I was proud of myself getting a silver bar. St
Dominic’s is a really nice school where you get to do a lot of nice
activities. It all changed when COVID-19 arrived it’s where at a point
when you can’t do all the activities that all the teachers had planned
out at least there were things we were able to do, I mean this was
supposed to be the best 2020 year at school as a Grade 7.
I just hope everything go’s well again and I hope I can achieve more
things in life.
Chapter 4 – MeMorable MoMents in My
life
My memorable moments will I always have them in my
memories.
There are so many memorable moments in my life that remind
me of all the things I did. I miss the time as we went as a family for a
vacation in Emerald (Johannesburg) last year, we really enjoyed
ourselves we got to saw the animal park and it was really funny that
the fact my sister was scared of the snakes I mean my dad had to
even carry her. I miss all the fun things I did before COViD-19 arrived.
I miss going on sleepovers, going to church, travelling hugging our
friends. There are so many memories of all the things I did in pre-
school with my friends.
Chapter 5 – My favourite aCtivities
Swimming, Reading, Dancing, Hockey, music and Tennis are the
activities I really enjoy doing. The BEST is singing, singing has showed
me my true self I started at the age 10. I love singing and I hope I
become what I want to become.

Chapter 6 – My hopes for the future
There are so many things I would like to achieve in the future.
Like to always get over 80% for each test. I want to be a singer and a
civil engineer I know it will take hard work for me to get what I want
and lots of practise. I would like to build two beautiful mention’s in
South Africa and in the United States. I would like to travel around
the world and meet my favourite American singer SELENA GOMEZ!!!
There are so many things I want my family to have I just hope
everything go’s well in the future as I grow up I will have to push
hard no matter how hard it takes.
I would really want to earn some business and to help those in need.
a letter to My future self
My letter to my future self is to never give up no matter how hard
the challenge is, that I will face in life. I hope that everything goes
well in the future. In life I’ve always wanted to sing, write songs and
be a actress and I know I will become those things and I pray . I
would also want to take this moment to appreciate everything my
parents have done for me so far, from a baby to a teenager and also
happy that am a Christian and I know God will always be there for
me and I will always my trust in him. There will be struggles that I will
face in life where I will have my friends and family who will be at me
side. Am advising myself to be become a strong woman to never give
up to take things slowly one at a time and finally to be grateful. As
am growing into a teenager there are still tons and tons of things am
going to learn about, and there will be mistakes that I will make.
So I want to introduce myself to the real me in life and to always be
happy through the good and the bad.

There are so many things I want my family to have I just hope

hard no matter how hard it takes.

a letter to My future self
