    In two experiments with gobstoppers, the students found that the candy's color comes off when placed in water. In the first experiment, they used red, orange and yellow gobstoppers and found the red color was strongest. In the second experiment with four pebbles and hot water, the hot water burned the sugar faster than cold water and one pink gobstopper resembled a mini brain after being placed in the water.

    1st Experiment
    On our first experiment we discovered:
     The color comes off

     The shape looks like a peace sign.

     Out of the 3 color we used (Red, Orange and

    Yellow) the red was stronger than orange and


    yellow so it was blending a little bit
    2nd Experiment
    For this experiment we used 4 pebbles and hot
    water
     The color is coming off again
     It looks like:
     Hot water burns the sugar faster than cold or
    room temperature water
     The pink gobstopper looks like a mini brain
