HR Leadership Award at the Asia Pacific HRM Congress

At the recently concluded Asia Pacific HRM Congress held at Mumbai,


Mr. P.R. Joshi, President – Group HR & Corporate Communications, Zydus Cadila received
the HR Leadership Award, one of the prestigious awards at the Congress. Mr. P.R. Joshi
received the Golden Statuette and citation from the Chief Guest, Mr. Praful Patel, the
Hon’ble Minister for Civil Aviation, Government of India.

The HR Leadership Award which was a part of the Global HR Excellence Awards presented
at the Congress, is in recognition of Mr. Joshi’s leadership and contribution to the field of
HR. As a thinker and a doer, his ability to drive initiatives that embrace change, encourage
constructive challenges, high intrapreneurial skills and business acumen and his respect for
values, integrity and work-life balance, made him a strong contender for the award.

The World HRD Congress based on the theme ‘The HR Professional as a Business Manager
in the New Millennium’ was held at Mumbai from the 1st to 3rd of February. The Congress
was co-sponsored by Times Ascent and ITM Business School. Over 2000 delegates
comprising CEO’s, HR professionals and consultants representing 60 countries attended the
Congress.
