Course Description

• Deals with the concept of


disturbances and pre existing health
problems of pregnant women and the
pathologic changes duting
intrapartum and post partum periods.
Objectives
• Given an actual situation/conditions
involving individual client and family at
risk with problem, the students will be
able :

l. Utilize the nursing process in the holistic care of client


for the promotion snf maintenance of health in
community and hospital settings
• 1.1 Assess with the client his or her
health conditions and risk factors
affecting health.
