NATO, yes, no, why?

Germans bombarded us in World War II, but today we have normal relationship
between our countries. In Serbia 70 percent of people want to enter United Nations,
although 19 country members bombarded us in 1999.
Large number of people in Serbia don’t want to join NATO, because they bombarded
our country, and entrying would mean that we forgot our dignity.
United States of America favorable our country since 5th October, and there is a huge
space for colaboration. Serbia is completely surrounded with members and candidates
for membership in Alliance. This fact should be reminder for all of those who are
into politics that we will one day, sooner or later, be forced to choose if we want to be
a part of NATO.
Driven by a quote: “If you can’t beat them, join them” I personally believe that we
should join NATO, because they are the most powerful aliance in the world, and it’s
better to have them as a friend rather than as an enemy. The Independed state of
Kosovo was created by Americans and there allies. There main characteristic is that
they take everything they want. If we join NATO we will recognise Kosovo as
independed state, but we will lose it anyway.
It’s in our best interes to join NATO, especially from security and political aspects.
