SAP GUI for Windows 7.

1 Installation Procedure

To install SAP GUI for Windows 7.1, you will require two important files:
1) SAP GUI for Windows 7.1 installation software
You can download the installation software from the following URL:
http://sap.fit.qut.edu.au/tech_support/download/SAPGUI_Windows/SAPGUI71.zip

Extract the zip file and navigate to the WIN32 directory and double click on
SetupALL.exe file.

Then please do the installation:

At this time go ahead and install all client products as they might be utilized in the
future.

Step (3)
If the installation is complete then please download the next important files:

2) saplogon.ini file
Please download new saplogon.ini from the following URL:
http://queen.fit.qut.edu.au/irj/go/km/docs/documents/Public%20Documents/AHC
%20WEB%20Content/saplogon.zip

When complete, please extract and copy the downloaded saplogon.ini, sapmsg.ini,
saproute.ini files to C:\Windows (Your windows installation directory) - see the
picture below

If the installation is complete please do the following steps:


Step (1)
Start the SAP GUI Logon panel

Step (2)
You should be presented with screen similar to the one below.
In this exercise the system you will be using T01 (marked with a rectangle).

Currently, we have 2 SAPRouters.
You are able to go to T01 with connection to SAPRouter1 and the other is to
SAPRouter2

Double click T01 and you should see the SAP Screen similar to the picture below:

Notes:
- For SAP GUI connection, your infrastructure support team must ensure the
following ports are open
• 3200
• 3600
• 3299

- Please make sure you are logging into the correct system and client assigned to you
by our support team.
We show you how to connect to system T01 for demonstration purpose only.
