Methods Of Training.
Training:-
Training denotes a systematic procedure for
transferring technical know-how to the employees
so as to increase their knowledge and skills for
doing particular job.
“Training is the act of increasing the knowledge and
skills for doing a particular job”.
Training is necessary not only for new employees,
but also for the old employees at the time of
technical changes.
Objectives Of Training:-
1) To improve job related skills:-Some people are
not able to perform their jobs well. They need a
training course for the purpose of removing their
deficiencies and fitting them to their jobs.
2) To update knowledge & skills:-Organisations
should support their personnel in the battle against
skills obsolescence. Personnel are to be exposed to
refresher course & development programmes with
a view to improve their utility to the organisation.
3) To prepare for higher responsibilities:-The
personnel need to have opportunities for
advancement in their careers. Concurrently,
they should also be striving for assuming
higher responsibilities & performing more
complex tasks with competence.
4) To develop proper job-related attitudes:-
The employees have to be trained to
develop positive and helpful attitude
towards their jobs, superiors, colleagues and
juniors, the goals, policies and procedures
