1)Advertising Assignment

As an agency you are pitching for an athletic shoe account. What


approach would you consider? You have to wear 2 caps.
a. As a Brand Steward -Name, position and launch the new brand
b. As a Creative partner –develop an idea for the campaign and rough
out two sample ads.

Remember : the print ad will run in both men’s and women’s magazines as
well as fitness and trade magazines.

IMC Assignment

a) Pick five print or television advertisements that provide Websites. Go


to each site. Is the website a natural extension of the advertisement?
What connection or similarities did you see between the website and
the advertisement?

b) E-bay. Access the website to see what type of products it sells.


Examine the buyers corner. What tips are given for buyers? What
services does e-bay offer to buyers? What tips and services are listed
on the website for sellers ? What are the advantages and disadvantages
for buyers and sellers. Which members of the buying community
would be the most likely to use this service.
