What Rotary means to DGE’s

R - Responsibility – We are accepting the greatest responsibility for pursuing the Rotary
mission within the District.

O - Optimism – The District Governor should be the most optimistic Rotarian in the District.

T - Trust – The Club Presidents and Rotarians must be able to trust the District Governor to
have their best interests at heart.

A - Answers – The District Governor should be educated enough about Rotary and RI to
answer Club Presidents and individual Rotarians questions.

R - Respect – The District Governor should respect all the Clubs and all the Rotarians.

Y - Youth – The future of Rotary is in “their” hands.
