THUNDERBOLDTS NEWSLETTER

Tiger Woods:
When you lose over $110 million in sponsorships per year; admit to 122 affairs; accused of sex
with next door neighbor’s daughter; be served with divorce papers during player’s
championship, withdraw following day, neck pain caused by car wreck, steroids, drugs, affairs –
who knows what will be next.

If Tiger continues on this unbelievable free-fall, inside sources are ready to drop his last
sponsorship and a financial melt down will put Elin as the new leading money winner on the
PGA Tour.

Once Tiger is divorced, will the PGA see porn stars in the gallery hugging Tiger if he wins, affair
mistresses with Tiger’s children – already reported one of his mistresses as being pregnant. This
could put TV ratings skyrocketing. Jerry Springer as Tiger’s new publicity agent.

Did you know Tiger uses a full finger grip on some shots around the green for more feel? Asked
why he changes to putting all his fingers on the club, answer who would interlock their fingers
while holding any part of your anatomy.

Hank Haney resigns as Tiger’s swing guru before Tiger fires him for not supporting his swinging
plane positions as being too flat, too upright and not concentrating on one hole at a time.

Full Finger Grip / $20 will give you 20 yds.:

PGA Tour:
What has happened to the USGA equipment oversight – non-existent? Is this good for
golf? Great for the amateurs making PGA Tour courses obsolete. If you can’t hit the ball a
minimum of 300 to 350 yds., you are not competitive on any tour. To cite an example, Jeff
Overton, at the Zurich Classic, came in averaging 286.2, switched to a Taylor Made Super Fast
Driver and averaged 313.0, ranking second for the week. What is going to happen on the Tour
when the long drivers, averaging 310 use this driver – 400 yd. drives no problem – Bubba
Watson, John Daly, Camillo Villegas, etc? Is this driver legal? If not, you can bet the tour
professionals will be using Taylors new distance burner.

Is there anyone that can fill Tiger’s role on tour? Not likely. Why? Too much competition,
money and family demands. Desire to be number one is not in the mindset of most young
professionals. Winning a tournament, Majors, Ryder Cup and attempting to have a normal life
are top goals.

The Tour is not a friendly atmosphere for any professionals. Example:

A. Motel room 10 months a year

B. Traveling 1 day per week to tournament site – playing six days

C. Normal day – 9 hours

1. 1 hour exercise
2. 2 hours practice
3. 5 hours playing
4. Breakfast, lunch – 1 hour

D. Entertainment – not during playing days

Tuesday – practice
Wednesday – Pro-Am
Thursday – Sunday – tournament

LPGA Tour:
LPGA Tour is now going global, mainly due to the economy and the void of any name
stars. Michele Wi has emerged and could be a big draw for the lady professionals.

Lorena Ochoa, retiring, will leave a void on the Tour, but the traveling as cited on the Men’s
PGA Tour is not a family atmosphere
.
Much more demanding schedule than the PGA Tour – family, children and motel rooms are a
hard mix. Husbands that are working at home – LPGA professionals traveling alone, if
married. Single LPGA professionals – boyfriends are working and seldom traveling with their
girlfriends on LPGA Tour.
The top LPGA players need to be recognized and promoted in the United States, but this is
difficult because of the foreign stars dominating the Tour.

Yani Tseng, Viyah Shin, Cristie Kerr, Susan Pettersen, Ali Mamiyazo, Kyung Seo, Sophie
Gustafson, Song Hee Kim and Paula Creamer round out the Top 9! on how the Rolex rankings
will look.
