HSBC banking corporation offeres many motivation systems to its employees which
includes a learning and development department that helps HSBC staff to learn
various skills in our bussines market today that have coarses about money laundry and
sales skills programs and basicly how to interact efficiently and effectively in our
market.
HSBC also offeres its staff that they save there money and enter the stock market and
recommend what bussines to invest in. they give its staff good rates in various areas
like for eammple 50% discout in all gold's gym around the world and when
exchanging currency the staff takes it at a higher rate
 Salary wise it is much better than many private banks
 When an HSBC staff takes a loan from his/her bank the intrest rate is
calculated 6% straight
 Any medicals fees is paid by the bank
 Appraisal is done by the direct manager to calculate your bonus which is twice
a year
 Profit share every year
 Easily promoted within the bank after 12 months from your first contract
 To pay 30% of a NBA or any academic programs fees

How did the company develop its motivation system:

HSBC developed its motivation system by using two critical departments which first
is the human resource department which is responsible for salary distribution and
making the employees in HSBC very content and providing them with the best
working environment and also giving them vacations and bonus packs the second
department is the learning and development department which is responsible for
keeping staff HSBC up to date in all the information regarding the bank and the
market.

How did the motivation system evolve:

Technology was the main driving factor that evolved the motivation system know any
HSBC staff can be noticed world wide by for example the CONNECT magazine
edition that comes out every month that connects all the staff together stating the
staffs different talents and hobbies and also the launch of the think joined up theory
that was made-up by MR. Mike gagmen that joined up all HSBC staff and made them
more motivated and focused by following the 7 global pillars. The problem that
occurred in the motivation system in the old days were that the salary was relatively
low because there was a lot of competition and therefore the promotion within the
company was rare and caused a lot of turnover

In conclusion working in HSBC is the best place to be and it’s a word of mouth to
most people because of its good brand name and its supreme financial services so
overall HSBC staff are motivated .
