• The 46a will now link Dún Laoghaire with the city centre and on to Phoenix Park at a frequency of 10 minutes or better
during the day.
• The 63 will now run between Kiltiernan and Dun Laoghaire serving Cornelscourt and stopping along Abbey Road,

Monkstown Avenue, Monkstown Farm and Oliver Plunkett Road at 30 minute intervals. When I first became a TD for Dublin South, one of my main objectives was to develop the Dublin Mountains as a recreational resource for
the city.
• Route 145 will provide a high frequency connection to Heuston Station from North Wicklow via Shankill, Cabinteely,
Stillorgan and UCD Belfield. This will be a more direct service with weekday intervals of 10 minutes. Therefore six years ago I set up the first meeting with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown
and South Dublin County Councils, Coillte and a number of other interested parties
• The 47 will now operate to the City Centre and will provide a day long service to Stepaside via Stillorgan Village, St. Vincents to see how we could coordinate the work that everyone was doing in this area. This

tremendous work in developing the mountains for recreational purposes.
• Route 84 will serve the new Luas stop at Cherrywood and will then continue to Stillorgan Village and UCD Belfield.
Over the Summer, the Dublin Mountaineer Bus ran a very successful service
from the Luas in Sandyford and Tallaght around the mountains via Glencullen and
Kilakee, and back again.
