Who wants us to be Beautiful?

A2 Media Research. Laura Osborne

Brief
 An extract from a new documentary TV programme,
lasting approximately 5 minutes, together with two of the
three following:
 A radio trailer for the documentary
 A double-paged spread from a listing magazine focused on the
documentary
 A newspaper advertisement for the documentary.
Why have I chosen this Title and Topic as a source of my
Documentary?

 I have chosen this title as it gives me the opportunity to look

deeper into the topic and evolves into a further series of
questions
 I’ve picked this topic as I can search deeper into the meaning
behind beauty and the pressure put upon society.
 It allows me to search into peoples views and opinions with the
use of Interviews.
 The choice of documentary allows me to explore all ranges of
current media- Magazines, TV, Internet. All of which contribute
significantly.
 The main audience of this Documentary is targeted towards
Teenagers. But an area I would like to look at is how it is not
only woman who feel this extreme pressure.
We all want to be Beautiful
