came to school with swastikas and
racist slogans written on her body
with ink
Next day, Manitoba Child and Family
Services seized the children from
their home
Trial ensued, ended Thursday,
February 11th

The Court’s decision to grant
permanent custody to CFS was very
controversial

A seemingly normal family
Children now 9 and 3 ½ yrs old

Cause and Effect
This is a cause and effect issue which
started when 7 year old went to
school with racial slogans on arms
Effect: CFS seized the children from
their parents
Effect: National and International
discussion over controversial decision
Effect: Trial for stepfather’s custody
of children
