SAP – FICO JD

4 plus years experience configuring, testing, and implementing new functionality


in SAP version 4.7 or higher

 Hands on experience in FI-GL, AR, AP, SPL, FA 


 Configuration of payment programs, DME engine, AP and AR processes 
 Understanding of CO-PC, CO-PA, CO-IO, CCA, CO-PS, EC-PCA 
 Experience working for an acquisition based corporation, having integrated
acquired companies into existing SAP FI/CO structure 
 Understanding of Legal Entity / Company Code design concepts a must.
 Must have experience working in a Multi-Company code environment in
which inter-company transactions are commonplace. 
 Experience integrating finance transactions across multiple SAP platforms a
plus 
 GL configuration knowledge including posting rules and Chart of Account
design.
 Comprehensive understanding of GL day to day postings and closing
activities.
 Experience in foreign currency transactions 
 Deep understanding of SD-FI and MM/IM-FI interface (account
determination, movement types, etc.). 
 Strong CO master data and costing based PA, Familiarity with CO
Allocations (PA Assessments),
 Asset Management and depreciation experience, including conversion
techniques
 Familiarity with Standard SAP tools such as Report Painter, CATT, and
LSMW. 
 General knowledge of SAP security role design 
 Significant testing experience, including definition and documentation of
test results at various phases of the project lifecycle. 
 Strong communication skills that enable the candidate to work
independently with business and IT partners throughout the project lifecycle.
 Must have technical expertise and detailed knowledge of the finance process
area that will enable the candidate to talk in business terms (T-Accounts, etc)
as required. 
 Possess leadership behaviors and acts with managerial courage to motivate
and influence team members 
 Must be able to lead project teams, including coordination with offshore
resources 
 Translates business needs into functional requirements that can be
understood by a technical resource. 
 4 - 7 years of SAP related work experience and participation in SAP
certified training programs 
 Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Knowledge of CO objects, processes 
Knowledge of ABAP
Integration Aspects with MM/PP/SD

Desired Education, Experience, and Skills:

4+ years of functional experience in FI 


Full lifecycle implementations – at least 3 
SAP R3 Enterprise 4.7 experience is required. 
Experience in ECC 5.0 or 6.0 is a plus 
SAP ABAP/4 knowledge is a major plus. 
Cross functional knowledge in SD/MM is highly preferred. 
Experience implementing / supporting FSCM in SAP ECC version 6.0 a plus
· Ability to work with difficult and demanding user community
