    MICT is the primary government body for informatics development and


    networking in Govt. and cooperative sectors.

    MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY


    consist of three department namely - Dept. of Information Technology(DIT),
    Dept. of Telecom(DOT) and Dept. of Post (DOP). DIT acts as a motivator and
    promoter to spread IT amongst masses and ensures speedy IT development in
    the country.

    In this era of globalization and hyper-competition, the concept of teaching has under gone sea change.
    Learning of information is becoming more important. Internet based education and e-learning are the
    trends of the day. The objective of this deptt. is to create expertise R&D and education in the country
