A Mole of Paper
 The average piece of paper is only 1/10th of a millimeter thick. This is so

small, that if the paper’s length and height was this

size, it wouldn’t be visible.

 1 mole of paper is equal to 6.02 x 10^23 pieces of

paper.

 At 1/10th of a millimeter, this would equal 6.02 x

10^19 meters

 Stacked on top of each other, this paper would

reach the moon and back over 80 billion times.

 The width and height of the paper is 8.5 x 11

 The mass of this massive amount of paper would

be over 6.81 x 10^28 grams. This is more than

the mass of the entire earth!

 The density of the paper is 500 lb/cu ft.
