    DEVELOP BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE APPLICATION OR REPORTS

    PHASE DESCRIPTION:
    The purpose of this phase is to develop the business intelligence application or reports on
    top of the data warehouse or data mart that has been built.

    ENTRY CRITERIA:
    • The user requirements specification document is ready
    • The data warehouse has been designed and deployed
    • The meta data layer has been constructed

    TASKS:

    The key tasks in this phase are:

    • Develop the universes or cubes as per specifications


    • Use the report building component of the BI tool to build and deploy the reports
    as identified in the user requirements specification document

    VALIDATION AND VERIFICATION:


    All the steps enumerated in the task list defined above are adhered to.

    EXIT CRITERIA:
    • The reports have been built as per the specifications and deployed.
