 Give and ask for information about celebration in Ecuador and USA.
 Talk about famous celebration in the world.
 Practice questions and answers using the verb to be in the simple present and the
past.
 Practice preposition on, months.
MATERIALS

Flash cards, pictures, board, and markets showing vocabulary about celebrations,
movie (celebrations in USA).
ACTIVITY 1: Warm-up

1. Using celebrations flash cards: Show students the picture of the new year’s
party and ask:
“What’s kind of party do you think these people are celebrating?”.
