Teachers are considered the mentors, who not only guide a person academically, but also instill moral

and
ethical values in him/her. Teacher's Day appreciates teaching and the people who have opted for the profession.
It is a day, when students approach their teachers and extend their sincere gratitude to them. Some come up
with short and cute poems, while others dedicate songs, speeches, even special performances to their teachers.
If you are planning to write a short poem for your teachers, then this article is what you need. In the following
lines, we have given popular short poems for teachers. You may either take inspiration from them or dedicate
them to your teachers.

Teacher's Day Short Poetry

Teachers

When we stride or stroll across the frozen lake,

We place our feet where they have never been.
We walk upon the unwalked. But we are uneasy.
Who is down there but our old teachers?
Water that once could take no human weight-
We were students then- holds up our feet,
And goes on ahead of us for a mile.
Beneath us the teachers, and around us the stillness

Thanks for all you do.
You make learning easy;
Your lessons are fun, too!

We'll Remember You

Thank you teacher for helping us

To learn what we need to know
We'll all remember you
No matter where we go

Thank you teacher for being

So nice and kind and good;
We like you so much, teacher,
We'd stay here if we could!

God Made Teachers

God understood our thirst for

Knowledge, And Our Need To Be Led
By someone wiser;
He needed a heart of compassion,
Of encouragement, and patience;
Someone who would accept
The Challenge Regardless Of The
Opposition;
Someone who could see potential
And believe in the best in others . . .
So he made teachers

Two More Days Till School

I'm finally going to school this year,

and now the big day's almost here.
I'll learn to write and count and read--
Only two more days till school.

I got new pants and shirts and socks,

a brand-new red and blue lunch box;
I'll paint and sing and dance and play--
Only one more day fill school.

My hair is washed, my sneakers squeak,

I'm so excited, I can hardly speak!
New things to do, new friends to meet--
Hooray! It's the first day of school!

Teacher
For teaching children lessons,
To help them as they grow,
Let this gift remind you,
You're the best teacher we know!

Remember?
Remember the first flush of love
that drew you powerfully together?
It still feeds the unassailable bond
that makes your marriage so secure.
Remember all the qualities about each other
you found so endearing?
They are still there,
and new ones create sweet surprises.
Remember thinking that this love
would last forever?
Your love has strengthened and grown
into eternal affection and admiration.
Years from now, you'll look back
at this anniversary
and realize you love each other
more than ever.
Happy Anniversary!
