Note: An accessory materials fee of approximately $5.00 will be collected at the first class.
Paint Brushes: Numbers 4 and 8 rounds. The Winsor and Newton Series 7 is a good choice,
however you may use any round brush in a similar size that you prefer.
Palette: Any palette with both wells and flat mixing areas will work. A small folding portable
palette laid with tube colors is ideal. A small travel-palette with pan colors is acceptable.
Paints: Tubed paints in the following colors: Hansa or lemon yellow; cadmium yellow medium;
cadmium red medium; quinacridone red or violet; cerulean blue or phthalo blue;
ultramarine blue; burnt sienna; raw sienna; quinacridone gold.
Water Containers: Bring two wide-mouthed empty. Recycled plastic tubs work well. Bring a
large lidded water bottle; for filling containers and drinking water as well.
Painting Rags: bring a partial roll of paper towels for wiping brushes or cleaning your palette.
White cotton rags work well also, as in old T-shirts or sheets.
Sketch Pad: 9 x 12 (or larger) inexpensive white drawing pad for exercises and taking notes
Highly desirable: a portable folding easel and a small stool, an artists shade umbrella
