    Force circus
    Follow the instructions given for each experiment to discover various kinds of forces. After you
    have finished the experiment fill in the table given below for each of the experiments.

    Experiment 1: Bat the Ball


     Drop the marble with your left hand from a height of 30 cm and try and bat it using the
    ruler with your right hand.

    Experiment 2: Moving Magnets


     Use the 2 magnets placed on your table and move the magnet labeled A along the line
    from the start to the finish line.

    Experiment 3: Straws Repulsion


     Rub the straw given on the table with a piece of cloth and bring it near the straw
    suspended from the stand.

    Experiment 4: Upthrust
     Weigh the given stone in air.
     Completely immerse the stone in water and weigh it.
     Observe the change in weight.

    Experiment 5: Plasticine castle


     Follow the given instructions to make a castle using plasticine.

    Experiment 6: Friction

     Pull a book along the table and measure the force required to do so.
     Pull the same book along the floor.
     Observe the difference.
