Flag and its symbolism

Australia used to be a British settlement which explains the mini flag of

the UK. The 6 stars represent the 6 states of Australia : New South Wales,
Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern
territory, not to mention Tasmania which is not counted as a state.
 Economy and Currency
The currency of Australia is the Australian dollar
and is still $.The exchange rate of one Australian
dollar to one HK dollar is approximately $7.20
HKD but back in ’07 one Australian dollar to one
HK dollar was approximately worth $8 as they
were effected by the financial crisis and still are
rising slowly back.
The national economy of Australia is the 13th
largest on the entire world and represents
approximately 1.7% of the total world economy.
 Geographical location
Australia is the smallest continent in the world
consisting of only Australia obviously. Australia is
covered by desert and in the hot summer
months, hot easterly winds blow from the desert
and mainly hit the New South Wales region and
Victoria which I have boxed. Australia has a
rather stable plate tectonics and doesn’t suffer
much earthquakes but a common disaster that
does happen is drought.Australia has
experienced some extreme heat,from mid 30’s to
45 degrees Celsius.
