9700i review

Overview:
When I first open the box, I saw a black body of it, looks very solid. When
I hold it, I felt it is more heavier than other phones. So if I drop it ,it maybe still
be solid, will not so easy to be broken. Haha…

Introduction:
This 9000 GSM phone was made by a Chinese factory, which producted
cell phone from 1998,so I trust its quality. Maybe there are more than one
black color.
Design& Features:
The first glance of it ,I saw a obtrusive word “WiFi”, which on the top of
screen. The keyboard that looks like computer keyboard,very comfortable. A
homepage picture on the left. I found the FM, space, alt, sym etc. shortcut
Keys. There located a DEL key for imputing messages, it’s very convenient.
So when I using it, just like playing the computer. What my favourite is the
enter key, it’s a round bead, it’s usually be light, if I need to change items ,I
only need to slide it, I like the feel of sliding it, it also be very simple, other
than typing four keys to control it.

I found the aerial on the bottom of its body , because it could used for
watching TV, there are two items right to it, a micro USB port and a small port
for earphone, both not cover with plastic surround, but not affect its well-done.
The microphone Is up of them. While on the right of the phone, I noticed the
volume control key. The top of this phone is just be smooth.

Usability and Performance:

The first time I light the screen, there are several Shortcut icons listed on
the bottom of it .I usually touched mail and message, it is just locating in the
first, it’s very nice for me to check the unread mails and send them back,. With
this obvious icon, I’ll not forget to receive messages from my customers and
workmates or others. As you know, I’m a careless person, which often forget
things. The radio message and voice mail are near to them, but I never use
them. Because I don’t know how to use, it seems no need to use. I like more
is the internet icon, so no need to search the important function. Moreover
than these, I can easy to use the e-Buddy and facebook, that’s wonderful. But
I need to apply for a new e-Buddy ID, as I never use it before. What I think the
unique of it is the lock icon which located on the right of the screen. I can lock
it when I need, but it will not lock if you don’t touch it, even though you don’t
use it long time.

The most important I bought it is the WiFi connection, there is a Wireless

Router in my home, so I can connect to network free, it’s a best advantage for
me ,I don’t like to use PC, I face it in office, after I back home, I don’t want to
see it again. I just want to watch TV and scan some news in Google by this
phone. While What my wife like it best is the camera, it offer dual camera:
Back camera 2.0 MP with flashlight (support torch), front camera 0.3 MP ,it’s
awe for her, because she like taking photos best , she always hold my phone
in her hand to take photos by herself. So presumptuous woman. I have to tell
the contact tools are full of it , the Yahoo message ,Twitter and MSN are also
included .While sometimes if I have some problems ,I’ll turn help to Yahoo
Search. About the TV, what make me disappointed is the image quality of it,
after I searched so long time channel, I found 10 channels, but when I watch
,the quality is not so clean, can’t match the real TV actually. But consider the
cheap price of it ,I only have to accept this.
An exciting function it takes me is the Yami video, I can take a video call
with others, this is what I want to do several months ago. Now I can contact
with my parent which far from us face to face, I miss them very much ,now I
can often see them, very perfect. But I could select one of my sim card to do
that.( it can insert two sim cards in it.) This function will cost more telephone
fee. But I think it is worth to paying.
I was very despairing when I found the system of it is created by this
phone company, not Android ,Symbian others, I don’t know how to use this
system, I think it will take much time to study it. And if this phone can
controlled by touching the screen, I’ll be more appreciate it. But they can’t do
all the perfect functions ,all of us need to accept this truth ,even it is iPhone or
Nokia. And the another advantage of this phone is the battery life, I have
played many entertainment items, but it only took one frame battery . I usually
get it to charge once three –four days.
The summary
If you have enough money you can buy a expensive cell phone, but if you
are a common officer worker, I suggest this muti-function phone to you, you
can do much as the popular brand phone, I’ll look more on the function and
quality, rather than brand. Even though there are some lacking of it, but I just
cost 100 dollars, get this awe product, why not?
