DAUGHTER : (scroll Lazada’s web)

DAUGHTER : Mom, can I buy a new phone?
MOM : But why? You already have one
DAUGHTER : I’m going to university next two weeks. So, I need
a new phone. A phone that I’m using now already
have a problem. I can’t even make a call because
the speaker has broke down.
MOM : I will think about this later. And it is depend on your
behaviour.
SCENE 2 : MZ GADGET
CHARACTERS : SELLER AND BUYER(MOM)

SELLER : (Greeting a customer) Hello, mam. Good afternoon.

How can I help you?

BUYER : Hi! Good afternoon. I would like to buy a new phone

for my daughter.

SELLER : Okay mam. First of all, can I know, what’s the age of
your daughter?

BUYER : She’s nineteen.

SELLER : So, what’s kind of phone she like? For what purpose?

BUYER : Actually, she’s going to college soon. So, for her

college purpose she wants to buy a smartphone. Could you
please show me some of the popular brand.

SELLER : Okay mam. Here, we’ve so many selections. However,it

depends on your budget. The most popular brand certainly is
‘Apple’. There so many positive reviews about this product,
and the quality is quite good. I’m also use this brand for my
smartphone.

BUYER : Yes, my daughter also told me to buy her an iPhone but

I don’t know much about this new technology so I don’t know
should I buy it or not?

SELLER : You have to try it first then, buy it and you will
know that this product is very good and it has all the
features which apple is providing such as iCloud, Apple stores
and iBooks.

BUYER : So, how much it is?

SELLER : Hmm, its quite expensive actually. But it depends on

the storage. It comes with 16,32 and 64GB.

BUYER : Well, you know that I am buying this for my daughter,

so I don’t mind about the price as long as the quality is
good. So, price does not matter for me. I want to buy a good
product which will be good for my daughter.

SELLER : Mam, you are absolutely right. I know the price does
not matter for you while it is a good smart phone in this era.
So, here it is. (Show the packaging) It comes with four
different colours. Which one do you like the most ?

BUYER : I like the gold one. So, what is the unique feature
about this iPhone ?

SELLER : Gold looks attractive! As you can see the body is

slim and it is very light in weight so that you can carry it
easily, the battery power is also good. Beside that, it also
have a touch ID. Touch ID is a new fingerprint identify sensor
integrated with the phone’s home button. The iPhone 5S Home
button is made from sapphire and it is scratch resistant. What
else do you want to know mam ?

BUYER : Hmm, how about the camera ? Apple product is quiet

popular about the camera quality

SELLER : Yes mam. The camera of this iPhone is very amazing.

It has a new iSight camera. Apple has put a new 8 megapixel
camera and it has a 15 percent larger sensor, bigger pixels
measuring 1.5 microns. The camera also comes with a true tone
flash that feature a white LED.

BUYER : That’s good I think.

SELLER : So, what about the storage ? Which do you prefer ?

16, 32 or 64 GB ?

BUYER : I’ll choose the 32 GB for my daughter. Oh yes, how

about the warranty ?

SELLER : Don’t worry mam. It comes with a one year warranty.

If anything happen, you may come to this shop with a receipt.
SCENE 3 : HOME
CHARACTERS : DAUGHTER AND MOM
DAUGHTER : (Surfing internet, but suddenly the phone is
shutting down suddenly)

DAUGHTER : Mom, what is wrong with this phone?

MOM : (Go to her daughter) Why? Is there something happen?

DAUGHTER : I don’t know mom. The phone is off suddenly. The

screen is blank.

MOM : Why it is not working? (While trying to turn it on back)

DAUGHTER : No, I don’t know. I was surfing internet, but

suddenly it become a blank screen. I tried to turn it on back
but it keep turning off on its own.

MOM : Oh my god! What is wrong with this phone. I bought it

with the expensive price and it can be work only in 3 days?!
Why it didn’t work properly? It must be something happen on
this iPhone. Have you dropped it or you’ve downloaded apps
unnecessary ?

DAUGHTER : No, I’m not. And it didn’t fall or anything. I

think the phone is hang.

MOM : What a waste of money! Have you tried to charge it? It

may be blank because it is out of battery.

DAUGHTER : Okay. I will try to charge it now. (Go to the

socket and plug in the wire to charge the phone).

MOM : Its anything happen? The phone can turn on or not ?

DAUGHTER : It’s still not working mom. (Sigh)

MOM : Okay la, I will go to the shop tomorrow to find out what
is the problem with this phone.
SCENE 4 : MZ GADGET
CHARACTERS : SELLER AND BUYER(MOM)

SELLER : Hi mam! How are you today ?

BUYER : Hi! I’m not that fine. I’m disappointed actually with
the product that I bought from you 3 days ago.

SELLER : Ohh, I am sorry for you. Is there anything that I can

help?

BUYER : I want to return this iPhone.

SELLER : But why?

BUYER : It isn’t working properly.

SELLER : Is there any problem with this phone ?

BUYER : I don’t know. For the some reason the phone it cuts
off by itself. By the way, it happened when my daughter was
surfing internet on this phone yesterday. But suddenly the
phone was shutting down on its own.

SELLER : I see. Have you charged it?

BUYER : Yes I did. I asked my daughter to do that because I

thought the phone is shutting down because its out of battery.

SELLER : Alright mam. I am truly sorry that you are

disappointing about this iPhone. I’m going to make a call and
report about this to the head quarter.

BUYER : So, what about the money? Am I going to get back my

money?

SELLER : Look mam, I’ll make a report first. We will find out
and solve the problem. Give us 3 days to solve this problem.
If the phone cannot be fixed, I will refund your money. Don’t
worry mam. I will call you when the phone is ready.

BUYER : Alright! Please give me a call within 3 days or you

have to refund my money back. See you.

SCENE 5 : MZ GADGET
CHARACTERS : SELLER AND HEAD QUARTER(MAC CENTER)

SELLER : Hello May. This is Nisa speaking

MAY : Hello, oh yes Nisa.

SELLER : May, I received a complain from one customer about an

iPhone. The product that I got from your company.

MAY : Really?! It is rarely to have a complain from customer

about Apple’s product. Can I know what is the problem about
the iPhone.

SELLER : She said the iPhone is turned off by its own. I

didn’t open the back cover because I am afraid if I do so, the
warranty will not be covered by your company.

MAY : Yeah, that’s right. We will not cover the warranty if

you’ve opened the back cover. Can you please send it to me the
phone because I want to check it first to know the problem.

SELLER : Alright! Can you fix it within 3 days?

MAY : Its more than enough. We will fix it as soon as

possible. Don’t worry. I think its just a freezer screen. We
can fix it and if anything we will pay for the compensation.

SCENE 6 : MZ GADGET
CHARACTERS : SELLER AND BUYER(MOM)

MOM : Hello, good morning!

SELLER : Hello mam, good morning. Your phone is

ready.

BUYER : Oh really ? May I know what happened to this

iPhone?

SELLER : It seems there was some kind of problem with

the screen mam. But nothing to be worried, we already
fixed the screen. I would like to apologize for the
defective product you bought from our shop.

BUYER : I hope this problem will never happen again.

SELLER : Alright, mam. Oh yes, because this is our

mistake, we would like to offer you the replacement
of an original iPhone’s battery. If the battery of
this iPhone is broken,you can come to our shop and I
will change it wihout any charge.

BUYER : Alright, thank you. See you again, bye.
