    1. Rework Instructions "Capacitor Leakage"

    1.1. Cause

    The root cause is a short-circuit under C2999 or C2738 on the TV board, due to capacitor leakage. In attached picture you
    will see some traces (one ring) of liquid on the PWB, which is causing a short between the small copper tracks.

    1.2. Cure

    1. Clean the affected PWB under the concerning capacitor.


    2. Change capacitor:
    • C2999 (16V 1000µF 85°C) by a 105°C type: e.g. Rubycon 16YXG1000MKC or equivalent (*).
    • C2738 (50V 330µF 85°C) by a 105°C type: e.g. Rubycon 50YXF330MCE or equivalent (*).

    (*) Note: "Slow moving" commodity parts are no longer placed on stock by Euro Service. This component, or equivalent, is
    available in the regular market. See also attached data sheet for the specifications.
