ANSI M107 is the code for 150-watt energy saving lamps designed to replace ANSI

M57 175-watt lamps. ANSI M102 is for standard 150-watt single-ended metal halide
lamps.
Note some magnetic 175-watt ballasts are listed as 150-watt (M107) and 175-watt
(ANSI M57). These ballasts are not compatible with any 150-watt metal halide (AN
SI M81 or ANSI M102) lamps in the aquarium industry.
You can use double-ended and single-ended (ANSI M81 and ANSI M102) 150-watt lamp
s on some electronic 175-watt ballasts. These ballasts are labeled both 150-watt
and 175-watt. The outcome is usually the 150-watt lamp is driven at a higher wa
ttage.
