Purpose: Mahali loves Jesus

Christ with all her heart and

her family is quite dear to
her.

Aim: To share with others

the unfathomable, logic
defying love of Jesus Christ.
The Gospel music is an
excellent conduit to do this.
Mahali finds this an effortless
exercise and a privilege given
by the Master to encourage
others.

B ackground: Mahali (also

known as Vera) born 27 years
ago started singing from an
early age back in her birth
country The Mountain
Kingdom of Lesotho. The Country adored for her peaceful and hospitable
culture. Indeed these would be the attributes which will be inculcated in
Mahali’s life from early on and to exude in abundance in her daily life.

She has attended Adventist Schools from her start to completion. Her father
is a former president of Lesotho field of Seventh-day Adventists (Now
Lesotho Conference), the position held for 3 consecutive terms, and Bethel
College lecturer and church Pastor. Her mother is a nursing sister in the
Maluti Adventist Hospital in Lesotho and her father is now Chaplain and
church Pastor there. These well entrenched Adventist roots contributed
immensely for her love of Gospel music. She has sung in groups and trios all
across her schooling years. She sang in a well known Trio in South Africa
when she attended Helderberg College High School in Somerset West near
Cape Town in South Africa.

It was not until the year 2000 that she started going solo. When she moved
to the UK in January 2002 she started singing solos in her local churches.
She was then encouraged by many to start taking her music career seriously.
P articipation and Achievements: She has since sung in various events
and occasions across the UK. She has sung in
the Church Gatherings in High
Wycombe, Hastings, Newcastle,
Sheffield, Newtown, Oswestry, Cardiff,
Llandrindod Wells, West Bromwich,
Bournville, Windsor Street, Erdington,
Handsworthwood, Weston Supermare,
Swindon and the Pavilion of Hope
campaign in Birmingham among others,
also at Camp Meetings, Weddings,
Christmas parties, Hospitals and various
concerts. She has featured in concerts
across UK including Leeds, Birmingham,
and Wales etc.
She has appeared in various church
publications like The Messenger and The
BUC News.
Mahali has sung along some good artists
including No Limits from Soweto SA,
Joyous Symphony from Birmingham and
Unlimited Praise from Leeds, she has
been invited to the same event with
Adventist London Chorale in Brighton for
June 2008.

N ew Album: Mahali has recently been to the studio and she is due to
release her long waited album simply called DIGNIFIED. In this album
one comes into Mahali’s secret chamber and gets to bask in the
presence of the Master that Mahali loves in word and in deeds.
Often many have been taken by surprise when this daughter of the soil and
the precious child of Jesus Christ stands up to praise. She epitomises a
person who has given her all for Christ.
