FACTORS AFFECTING RECRUITMENT

At the time of recruitment following factors affect the companies,

Strong Competition
Availability of technical manpower
Economic conditions

15
STRONG COMPETITION

As we know Faisalabad is a city of textile industries so at the time of recruitment every

company try to hire and select best people but its impossible for everyone. So, there is a
big competition for salaries packages and every management have to consider it.

AVAILABILITY OF TECHNICAL MANPOWER

There is a lack of availability of technical staff and its also very difficult to search and
hire the best person while on low level or an high level.

ECONOMIC CONDITIONS

The economic conditions are all over the world are so bad. So its also effect the whole
process.

COMPARISON & SUGGESTION

In our point of view after detail study of both organizations we reached at following
points that should be under taken by both firms.
1. Sitara Textile Ltd.should go for internal sources because its helps to increase
loyalty and motivation of existing employees.
2. Seminars and employment agencies should also be used to find best person.
3. Kamal Ltd.should also go for the interviews sessions in big universities.
4. Unsolicited applications should also be given full interest by both firms because
its reduce cost of recruitment.
5. Sitara Textile should also go for head hunting because it’s a best way to capture
the best person while from any other firm.
6. The old and bad method of taking any decision in private groups by the mill
owners should also be reduced and every department should have all
opportunities to work in a peaceful and lawful way.

CONCLUSION
At the end we want to conclude that although the both firm are well established and well
organized but there should be some improvements necessary to strong the HR
department. But in our finding we find the KAMAL GROUP LIMITED best for the
process of recruitment in this sense because they are using both internal and external
sources. So SITARA GROUP LIMITED should also use both sources then they can find
best or right person AT the right job.
