countries made stuff in factories & shipped
it all over the world
• People in industrialized countries mostly
lived in cities (urban areas)
• Lots of new technology
– Steam engine (Train)
– Assembly Line (factories)
– Radio & Telegraph (increased
communication)
– New weapons (bigger, faster guns)
