Healing Acne Naturally

Anti Aging is the next greatest thing to think about and yes there are many things that
scientists are discovering that could change our health, but I like to get down to the basics
of using Vitamin C and Vitamin E on your skin so you do not have to wait for the next best
thing to come out. There have been many studies done and the experts agree that using
vitamin C & E on your face and skin can do miraculous things to get rid of acne forever.

My goal with health and helping people with skin and facial issues has always been
prevention, so that you do not have to continue feeling like everyone in the room is looking
at your acne. Or maybe it's not something that makes people look at you but you are very
subconscious about the acne on your face and have tried "everything" and it hasn't helped.

First let’s look at what the cause of acne is.

Naturally your skin produces oil that is found at the bottom of the follicles. It naturally
produces this oil and some people just naturally produce more than others. That's how you
get some people with oily skin and some people with dry skin. The problems come once
your own body takes over the processing of this oil on your skin and it sends out organisms
to combat the oil on your face and degrade the oil.

It's sort of like the military in Iraq. Everyone knows they are there but some of the Iraqis
don't feel like the Americans need to be there so they continue to attack every time they
come across an American soldier. Therefore, the Americans have to be on the "lookout" for
"unfriendlies" all the time.

So, these organisms and the oil that it is trying to break down, and the left over skin that is
shedding from your face all come together and form a glue that plugs up your pores and no
longer allows your skin to breathe anymore. The more the pore is plugged and the less that
the air can get into the pore the more progression of acne will occur. Moving from a
blackhead to a whitehead to a full blown pimple. When you have a full blown pimple the air
circulation to the bottom of the pore has been completely cutoff and the pore starts to swell
with broken down oil, skin and organisms.

When the air has been cutoff for a length of time, other bad organisms start to form and
then the skin gets highly irritated, red and sensitive. Then, if you can imagine it getting
even worse, free-radical reactions form thus making the pore, follicle and skin really
sensitive to anything that comes in contact with your face. Such as cleansers, lotions, tools
for extracting whiteheads, etc.

Once this process has continued over several hours, days or weeks. The bad liquid that
flows out of the pore will spill into other pores thus clogging those pores and the process
starting all over in the pores that are near. When you look at acne in the mirror, it may look
like only one pore or one "pimple" but most of the time there are several pimples that have
been effected and without proper cleansing the process will continue to multiply.

Some of the ways that dermatologists have treated acne is to "zap" the acne with high
concentrations of chemicals that are known to irritate the skin and cause the problem to get
worse instead of better. Most of the "zapping" methods are only used on very mild cases of
acne.

Your most effective formula to get rid of blackheads, pimples and acne is with Vitamin C and
Vitamin E and natural botanicals such as mulberry, beech tree bud, strawberry geranium,
grape and licorice. With these substances you are stopping the free radical reactions,
cleaning the poor without irritating the skin any further, reducing the redness that acne may
cause and using natural compounds that leave your skin soft, moist and looking great.

The main problem with vitamin C skin care is that Vitamin C and Vitamin E are very
unstable in liquid form. The research has been done to find ways to keep it stabilized so that
is the main question that should be asked when you are considering a product that "claims"
that it has high levels of Vitamin C in it. Check with the manufacturer and see what type of
clinical testing they did to determine that the same amount of Vitamin C that is on the label
is also the same about that you apply to your skin.
