Chapter Come Join

Consultant Our Team!
The Phi Kappa Psi Educational Chapter Consultant program is one of the most
important services we provide to undergraduate chapters and one of the best ways for
recent graduates to give back to the Fraternity. If you enjoyed your undergraduate years,
consider helping other members and chapters to have those same opportunities.
This will be one of the most challenging jobs you may ever have. The training program
will help you become an expert in Fraternity affairs, chapter operations, educational
processes and counseling. As you visit your client chapters, you will draw from this
knowledge to help chapters become stronger through new ideas, programs and
strategies. You will be challenged, but learning from your experiences is as important as
any other process you will develop.
You will travel all over the country visiting chapters and campuses. This is an ideal
time to make professional contacts with alumni in various cities or to evaluate graduate
programs. You will find that many colleges offer graduate scholarships or internships in
exchange for your continued work in Greek Affairs, should you decide to attend graduate
school at their campuses. At the very least, you will be able to determine where you may or
may not want to settle to attend school or find a job after your term as an ECC has ended.
You will be provided with housing, a company vehicle, a laptop computer and an
allowance for meals, in addition to your salary. On the road, you will stay at chapter houses,
but receive a per diem for meals and are reimbursed for fuel and other travel-related
expenses. You will not get rich, but it is possible to save quite a bit during your term.
Overall, the Educational Chapter Consultant program helps prepare you for almost any
profession you may choose. It provides you the opportunity to develop and exercise
skills that few new graduates are able to cultivate. You will become an ambassador for the
Fraternity, working with chapters, alumni, national Fraternity officers and volunteers and
campus administrators. You will gain insight into your abilities of diplomacy, critical
analysis and evaluation, management and counseling.
Finally, you will join the ranks of dozens of other loyal, committed brothers who have
taken time in their lives to help make Phi Kappa Psi a stronger organization and will be
better prepared to assist your own chapter as an alumnus advisor later, should you choose.
