WHAT ARE THE


VOLCANOES?
Volcanoes are natural phenomena that
in some cases can be devastating.
They are produced by the
joint or separation
 of two or more tectonic plates.
TYPES OF VOLCANOES
THERE ARE SEVERAL TYPES OF VOLCANOES 
THE MOST COMMON VOLCANOES ARE:
Strombolian eruptions are one of the most beautiful to
watch. They are named from the small volcano-island of
Stromboli (between Sicily and Italy)

ANOTHER IS THE HAWAIIAN VOLCANO, its


magma is fluid enough to travel great distances.
Spanish volcanoes

In Spain, there isn't  a lot of volcanic activity, you


can find some active volcanoes in the Canary
Islands.
Teide volcano is the highest peak in the Atlantic
Ocenan, which we can see in the picture.
