of colours in the sky. The shape is multicoloured arc. It divide in seven colours:
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and purple.

Scientific Definition
It is a natural arc of light observed in an rain
atmosphere charged of water. This sun

effect is producted because the

drops divide the white sunlight in
several colours and we are in front of it
we can see all the colours. When observer

the reflection / refraction is produced in
millions of droplets suspended in the air
together form an arc of colors in the sky rainbow

Secondary Rainbow
Sometimes we can see another
rainbow out of this, is called
secondary rainbow.
This effect is producted because
if the light hits the water drop
makes two refractions and three
internal reflections can deduce its
path using the same theory with a
rainbow.
The result is the formation of a
secondary rainbow of colors
reversed.
Lunar Rainbow
A lunar rainbow is a rainbow which
happens at night. Lunar rainbows
are relatively tenuous, due to the
limited quantity of light coming
from the moon.
Like the rainbow, lunar rainbows
are always on the opposite side
of the sky from which comes the
moonlight.
The best conditions for ocurrence
a lunar rainbow are: clear sky, full
moon and abundant humidity.
It is difficult to distinguish colors
in a rainbow moon because the
light is generally very weak.
