    1. Make sure that you are adequately prepared (knowledge of scripture, techniques of
    approach etc
    2. Spend unhurried time with the Lord and observe the following
     Confession for cleansing from any known sin................. Jam 4:7
    3. Humble yourself to receive authority ............1 Pet 5:6
    4. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and anoint you and anoint you for service
    5. Ask the Holy spirit to lead you to someone, and be ready to yield him
    6. Ask the Holy Spirit to flow out from you to touch other people’s lives and to minister
    through you.................John 7:37
    7. Do not speak your words but speak His word

    How to be Effective in soul winning (Fisherman’s attitude)


    Mt 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
    1. Have a clear purpose: Do not be distracted
    2. Have a careful preparation: Be equipped for the job
    3. Chose where you will go. Fishermen follow the fish. No fish jumps into the boat.
    4. Fishermen are seen by their appearance and language: Their work is seen in them in the
    same way Jesus should be seen in us.
    5. They never give up. Not even when there is no fish. Constantly they time the season.

    Leading one to Jesus Christ (share the good news with)


    1. God loves all people............................... John 3:16
    2. All men have sinned ..............................Romans 3:23
    3. Sin separates man from God..................Isaiah 59:2
    4. If sin is not taken away men’s lives will be fruitless.....................Ephesians 2:1-10
    5. The wages of sin is death.........................Romans 6:23
    6. God sent Jesus to die on the cross to for our sins.................1 Corinthians 15:3
    7. God raised Jesus from the dead and He is able to save........1 Cor 15:20-22; 2 Cor 4:14; Heb
    7:25
    8. Only Jesus’ blood cleanses, removes sin, allows eternal life...................Heb 9:12, 22
    9. To be forgiven by God one must:
     Repent – turn from selfish and sinful ways..................... Acts 3:19
     Accept Jesus as their Lord and saviour ...........................Romans 10:9-10
