 To get exposure to the Implementation of ICT in an organization and Development
of framework for ICT Implementation.
 To get an exposure various advantages of using ICT in Business applications

 Time for Presentation – 30 minutes. All students will have to submit a hard copy of
the Seminar Report in the prescribed format and to send a soft copy of the
seminar report and the power point presentation slides to the email address:
smsmbaib@gmail.com. While sending Email, you have to write the Name of the
Topic as subject of the Email.
 You have to visit at least 15 valid websites for the report preparations and all should
be included in the reference in the prescribed format.
 Marks for the seminar report and PPT will depend on the seminar presentations (Eg,
If you are absent for the presentation, you will get zero marks for seminar report,
PPT and presentation)

B. Application Paper: Each of the students will have to submit a paper on any
application of Information and Communication Technology in Business (other than from
the syllabus -separate topics for each student) - like IT enabled Tourism Management, It
Enabled Supply Chain Management, RFID applications, Nanotechnology, E- Governance,
Bench Marking, Total Quality Management in IT, Business Intelligence, Knowledge
Management, Sales Force Automation, Digital Economy, etc (separate topics for each
student). All students will have to submit a hard copy of the Report in the prescribed
format and send a soft copy of the report to the email address: smsmbaib@gmail.com.
While sending Email, you have to write the Name of the Topic as subject of the Email.

C. Technical Paper: - Recent Technological development in Information and


Communication Technology area (other than from the syllabus -separate topics for each
student)- All students will have to submit a hard copy of the Report in the prescribed
format and send a soft copy of the report to the email address: smsmbaib@gmail.com.
While sending Email, you have to write the Name of the Topic as subject of the Email.

D. Mini Project: In groups (Max. 2 Students), you will have to study and prepare a
complete project report in all respects on IT Implementation (including Budget,
infrastructure required, HR and all other aspects) in an organization of your choice. (Don’t
send Email)
Specifically look at:
 Present ICT Implementation
 Effectiveness of present applications as felt by the users
 Scope for further improvement& Requirements

 Infrastructure requirements etc
