What have you learned from your
audience feedback?
For my audience feedback, I created a
questionnaire asking viewers the following
questions:
• What do you think is effective about this
trailer?
•Would you want to watch this at a cinema?
•Do the fight scenes weaken the trailer?
•Does the trailer follow conventions of a
drama genre?
•How could the trailer be improved
After reading through all the answers given, I’ve learned
that majority of viewers do find the trailer effective,
because of the fast paced images used, and the way the
music grows in intensity to support the trailer. Several
viewers thought that fight scenes could have been
choreographed more, as it looks abit messy and it takes
away the effectiveness of the whole trailer. Viewers also
felt that the trailer does follow conventions of a drama
genre, as the protagonist is seen to be running away,
and caught in danger, but it also shows the conventions
of a teaser trailer because it isn't giving away the
reasons as to why the protagonist is running away.
When looking at the questionnaire there was also a lot
of reference to the text used in the trailer, the viewers
thought that it was very effective.
On average, 60% of viewers said they would like to see
this film at cinema.
