Information Systems are too important to be left to computer specialists, do you agree?

why not?

Broad-based understanding of information systems that includes behavioral knowledge about

organizations, management and individuals using information systems as well as technical
knowledge about computers.

I don’t agree with the above view point because the computer specialist job is to install the
program detect the error and them remove the error, that error which occur during the
implementation of a information system, but this doesn’t mean that information system just
left to operate for computer specialists. When information system implement in any
organization it’s operate by any staff or manager. The transaction or feeding data in
information system is done by managerial people or any other people day to day basis working
on any information system is done by any person but if any sorts of error or system down error
occur them there is need to call computer specialist and his job is to detect the error and found
a reasonable solution of that error or problem related to that system.

Management information systems are regarded to be a subset of the overall internal controls
procedures in a business, which cover the application of people, documents, technologies, and
procedures used by management accountants to solve business problems such as costing a
product, service or a business-wide strategy. Management information systems are distinct
from regular information systems in that they are used to analyze other information systems
applied in operational activities in the organization. Academically, the term is commonly used
to refer to the group of information management methods tied to the automation or support of
human decision making, e.g. Decision Support Systems, Expert systems, and Executive
information systems.

Conclusion:
In the end Information Systems are not too important to be left to computer specialists as it can
be operate by any manager or staff working on information system. Implementing part is done
by any person but in case if error occurs in programming side it can only solve by computer
specialist.
