period.
 Court Nobles and Monks were the only people in Japan who were
allowed to drink tea.

mixing with flavors like ginger or salt.
 Other are steamed and grounded into stone.
 prepared by being crushed and dried.
Why Tea is Important
 Was not as important as the ceremony in Japan.
 Tea helped calm minds
 used to heal and make people feel better.
 Was a popular beverage drank throughout
Japan.
 Japan would definitely not be what it is today,
if Tea had not been introduced to the Japanese.
