What is an MOT?

This is an annual test of a vehicle more than three years old. It

confirms that at THE TIME of test, without dismantling it, the MOTS STILL
vehicle met the MINIMUM acceptable standards required by
law.
The MOT certificate is also NO guarantee of the general

mechanical condition of your vehicle. The MOT does NOT
cover the condition of the engine, clutch and gearbox.
