Settings
Use the Tv (shutter priority) and Av (aperture priority) settings to compare/contrast shots in various
situations.

Step 1: Review Website

Step 2: Auto Presets vs. Manual

• Set ISO and WB appropriately for each environment

• Set camera Tv and choose appropriate shutter speed to accomplish:

1. Action shot with action frozen
2. Pan action with subject in focus and background blurred
3. Drinking fountain or sink water soft flowing action
4. Drinking fountain or sink water frozen action
5. Your choice

• Set camera to Av and choose appropriate f-stop to accomplish:

6. Still object with shallow depth
7. Same Still object with deep depth of field
8. Leading lines deep depth
9. Same leading lines shallow depth
10. Your choice

Step 3: Grading

1. Put photos in order and BATCH RENAME : 001lastname_proficiency

2. Open in BROWSE for me to see metadata and conference for grade
