background information and historical facts of the subject. It discusses the ‘who, what,
when, where, and why factors’ of slavery presenting plenty of information that can help
pursue my argument. The National Underground Freedom Center focuses on the negative
impact slavery has impacted on slaves. It includes various articles and books by
professors as well. This resource provides excellent information that can be used for an
argumentative essay.

UNICEF was authorized by the United Nations General Assembly to advocate for
children’s rights and basic needs and working all over the world. UNICEF presented an
article by Chris Niles who introduces a new documentary called ‘Not My Life,’ that was
directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Robert Bilheimer. Supported by UNICEF and
other international non-governmental organizations, this documentary looks at the ‘multi-
billion dollar industry that is the modern-day slave trade.’ The article itself discusses the
importance of awareness and negative outlooks of slavery and human trafficking. For the
argumentative essay, I will use both the article and documentary as a support for my
argument.
