Topic Name: - 360° Feedback and Performance
Appraisal

Research Objectives:-
 Performance, ‘It is behavior and should be distinguished from the
outcomes because they can be contaminated by systems factors’
 Performance Appraisal is an analysis of an employee’s recent successes
and failures, personal strengths and weaknesses, and suitability for
promotion or further training.

 To analyze the judgment of an employee’s performance in a job based on


considerations other than productivity
alone.
 To study about upward feedback and
downward feedback.

 To study on ‘will Feedback from peers


enhances employee self- development’.
Research Methodology:-
 Primary data
o Research approach:- survey
o Research instrument:- questionnaires

 Secondary data: - internet, websites, professional magazines, reference


books, newspapers.

 Sample Design:-
o Population: - 50 employees of the company.
o Sample: - Who is having above 2 to 5 yrs experience in company.

 Sampling technique:-
o Sample type: - Convenience Sampling.

Literature Review: -
 What is the 360° Feedback?
o It is the Multiple-input approach to performance, Focus on
teamwork, employee development.
o Upward, downward, and the vertical, horizontal study of the
performance appraisal w.r.t. employees feedback.

 What is Performance Appraisal?


o It is a part of guiding and managing career development.
o It is the process of obtaining, analyzing, and recording information
about the relative worth of an employee to the organization.

 Business related magazines like CTHR, employment news etc.

Hypothesis Testing:
 It will be decided as per survey.
