Taylor Street - Running from schoolhouse – ½ miles north
Tides Wharf - Restaurant, gas station (fire), boat dock – across Hwy 1
Brenner House - Children’s party, end of film – across harbor
Bay Hill Road – Tipi driving into Bodega Bay – 1 ½ miles North

Bodega Head (Sonoma Coast State Beach)


Great Coastal views , Whale watching Jan-May, seals, sea lions year round –
1 mi. North take a left on Eastshore Rd, right at stop sign, 3 miles to parking. Walk along the cliff hike to the
south past Fishermen’s Memorial.
U. C. Marine Lab – ½ hr. tours Fridays 2 – 4 pm, 2 mi. from Eastshore Rd.
Spud Point Marina – Harbor Master, Fish & Game, 1 mi. from Eastshore Rd.

Ocean Beaches (Sonoma Coast State Beach)


16 public ocean beaches, 2 miles - 10 miles north, many w/ toilets, campgrounds
at Bodega Dunes & Wright’s Beach, Children’s Bell Tower 1.5 miles north
Tide pools - low tide at Miwok, Carmet and Shell Beaches
Kortum Trail - Cliff walk by Mammoth Rubbing Rocks 6 - 9 miles north
Goat Rock Beach – Harbor seals & babies, April - Aug. -10 miles north

Doran County Park Beach and Campground


Jetty fishing, camping w/ showers, low surf, handicapped boardwalk – 1 mile South, $6 day use fee or county
park pass, Castles and Kites Festival in April

Russian River Valley (10 miles North)


Beaches – Monte Rio, 8 miles east, Guerneville 12 miles east
Kayak, canoes – Duncans Mills, Monte Rio, Guerneville, Forestville
Wineries – Russian River Wine Road, 120 tasting rooms, starts at Korbel
Champagne Cellars (tour, gardens, deli) – 15 miles east
Armstrong Redwoods – 6,000 acres, 1,400 yrs. - 12 miles east, 2 North

Fort Ross State Historical Park (22 miles North)
