Collective
The Geofest Collective are a festival spectacle and
performance crew. We have built our skills at small local
events like Riffraff, Rising Sun, Clockworks, Ynot and
Mercia Marina Festivals over many years. For 2011 we
are available to book for your festival, event, party or any
gathering - at very reasonable and flexible prices.
All of the performers and groups are available separately but the
more you have the cheaper it gets. Each person can multitask on at
least 3 different workshops so you can imagine how much benefit you
can get compared to hiring lots of separate groups.

Cordão De Ouro Capoeira - well established midlands Capoeira group. Demos and a
taster workshop in the Brazilian martial-art, acrobatic, dance game.
Poppenkast - giant walking puppets, roaming shows, marionettes; a whole bunch of
beautiful puppetry workshops.
3rd Degree - live fire performance with fire being juggled, twisted, flown and breathed.
Sense of Rhythm - drumming and percussion jam, world ethnic rhythms mixed with street
and urban grooves, guaranteed to get you drumming regardless of experience.
Creative workshops - lanterns, rangoli, tibetan flags, graffiti and more.
Group circus skills workshops - a mixture of tasters and tuition in the range of skills
on display - juggling, dancing, poi spinning, drumming and hula-hooping.
Kinetic sculptures - our new area of research into fascinating spinning shapes
that propel themselves and hypnotise the senses.
Pirating - set sail on the Seas of Mirth: ship-shape shanties, grand scale games
and wench-lead workshops.

We are all CRB checked and insured for liability, and have extensive experience of
running workshops with all ages and abilities. We are based in the midlands so
ideally placed to travel economically around the country. We work with any existing
event setup, very flexibly and will meet your needs in any way possible.
