massive dance performances, club events, and acts that show the

fashion-related events too that are worth experiencing.

BATTLE OF BANDS
Get ready to ignite the stage and unleash your musical mastery in our electrifying
Battle of the Bands competition! We're on the hunt for the most talented and
innovative bands to showcase their skills and captivate the crowd. From soaring
vocals to thunderous beats, this is your chance to make your mark. So, get ready to
rock the house, and let's see who will reign supreme as the champions of the Battle of
the Bands!

NU’ KKAD
Nukkad Natak has been an integral part of our Indian tradition for a long time now,
propagating social and political messages in a unique way, and creating awareness
amongst the masses.RITVIC presents Nukkad Natak - A Street Play, to spread
awareness and bring a paradigm shift in society.

NU - JOURNALIST
NU Journalist is an event where the participant gets to be a journalist investigating a
crime. The event will have a crime thriller story where there is a murder victim and 7
suspects. The story, including the description of suspects and the timeline of the
murder, will be shared with the participants beforehand. The participant will get to
interview each suspect once, in any order. In the end, the participant will have to
guess the real murderer and explain their choice. The participant with the closest
guess will be the winner.

HUSTLE MANIA
In this battle, there will be 2 rounds. The 1st round will be a prelims round. In this round,
the participants will give a freestyle of about 1 minute (the music will be played by the
Deejay). In this round 16 teams or participants will get selected for the next round.(if
less than 16 teams or participants then their will be direct face-off battle)The second
round will be the dance battle.(In a dance battle, the DJ plays random music in which
the participant have to dance) This dance battle will be between the 16 finalist teams.
The battle will follow a knockout system. Winner will be decided from the final battle.
 MAKTUB - Musical show
Prepare to surrender to the destiny of music and dance as Heartbeats, NITR's official
fusion band, presents Maktub, their flagship event. Maktub is a one-of-a-kind fusion
music festival with an electrifying lineup of singers and instrumentalists from across
the country.

Kaarvaan 2.0 - Mushaira

A poetic deliberance by the distinguished members of Kalaam on the closing day of
Nitrutsav. The performances will be in Hindi, Urdu and English and based on a wide
variety of themes. We will be having our own hosts. The duration of all performances,
including the hosting, will be approximately 2hours. We will also be having a special
guest (poet) to grace the occasion and embellish the event.

Palette Exhibition
"Experience a visual symphony of colors and emotions with Chitrnag's stunning
paintings! Explore a world of vibrant hues and captivating compositions that will

Competitions

BOLLY CHROMES
NITRUTSAV'23 is returning in its entirety to the stage to rejoice. AKRITI is here for the art
competition, with a canvas ready to spillway through the way for hues of creativity
and delight. The canvas you refresh will serve as an outlet for releasing your inner
artist into the world.Let us embrace this beautiful process of out casting your skills with
every essence of building out your soulful arts. Experience all of your artistic powers.

Mai shayar toh nahi

There will be 2 levels of this competition – in the 1st level, the participants need to
upload a pdf of their “original” content along with a video of them reciting it. The video
should not exceed 5mins. In the 2nd level, the top performers will be invited to perform
on stage and there will be some goodies for them. We will be having a renowned poet
to judge the finalists.

NU's got Talent

NU's Got Talent is a beautiful amalgamation of events of various contests like, "a
pictorial creative writing competition", "Cultural Quiz" and "tribal art". Participate in one
or more of these contests to compete for some exciting awards.

Monologue
The participants will be given a situation and are expected to prepare a monologue
according to it within a given period of time. There will be 2 rounds. The 1st round will
be online and selected participants will enter the 2nd round which is an offline round.
The winner will be decided based on the markings of the 2nd round.
COMPETITIONS

Crisis Commitee
A small-scale MUN simulation where the conference will consist of only one
international/national committee comprising all the delegates. The delegates will be
allocated portfolios relevant to the theme of the crisis. The event will consist of a single
INSPIRIN
round. The speech format should be per the MUN procedure of formal debate and
match the allotted country’s policy.

Lit-A-lympics
Lit-A-lympics consist of literacy games themed on Bollywood. There will be a total of
five rounds. The first few rounds will be elimination rounds, including contests such as
guessing the movie, creating a new narrative for the movie, and so on. Individual, as
well as team games, will be played. Participants with the top scores in each round
advance to the next round.

Role Play
Role Play is an event of mono act. To all the dramebaaz out there, this is your best
opportunity to dominate the spotlight and command the stage. Prep up for Role play
and steal the show by showing off your skills to the crowd and establish yourself as a
master of spontaneous action.

Bollywood Hunt
Are you the Filmy nautanki who eats, sleeps and breathes on Bollywood Cinema? If
you are, we've the best plan for you. It is the most exciting event Bollywood Hunt- the
treasure lies within. So pull up your socks and get ready kyuki picture abhi baaki hai
mere dost. You need to identify the name of the character or the movie from any
picture of a scene.
C O M P E T I T I O N S

Boston Legal

This competition would have two people/group competing against each other. They

would be given a fun yet thoughtful topic and they have to pick a side ie. for and

against the motion and convince the jury that they are right. After which the jury will

give their judgment.

Craftomania

The event will be about a Craft exhibition in which we will exhibit craftworks made

from materials that harm the environment. The motto behind the exhibition is to

create awareness about the 3R principle-Recycle, Reduce and Reuse. In this ‘Exhibition

cum Competition’ we will allow participants to use their creativity and make "Best out

of waste".

POSTERBAAZ
Posterbaaz is an alternate Indian movie poster-making competition. The participants

will each be given a movie and have 90 minutes to make a poster for it without using

accurate pictures of any of the characters. The three best designs would be chosen

and announced subsequently for the prizes. We'll also do a "guess the movie from

incomplete posters" game simultaneously to keep the participants entertained and

give them ideas.

DASTAAN

A competition to finally bring out the ultimate Bollywood plot fantasies, the

participants will be given a situation involving characters and contexts from popular

Indian movies and a "what if" scenario. They must present a short alternate story

based on the provided information. A pre-solved prompt will also be provided for

ease of reference.

find in this quiz, ranging across fields like food, music, film, history and politics, art and
architecture from the rich culture of India, among many others. Come be splendoured

The General Quiz is the mother of all quiz formats, the one where each and every
corner of the wide world is in syllabus. Questions can contain all sorts of interesting
trinkets of knowledge sources from a variety of places to create one beautiful event
which serves as an exploration of our entire universe.

MELAS quiz
Music, Entertainment, Literature Arts & Sports. Bring in your pop IQ and combine it with
your Sports know-how and take the MELAS quiz for a swing. It is sure to test the
breadth of your knowledge and keep those neurons firing away!

REEL-O-REEL
Reels have lately become the medium to exhibit ingenuity and generate
contemporary trends. To reveal your creative side, we are here with a reel making

Hola friends!! Literabuzz is here with yet another thrilling word quest. This is a simple,
yet tricky crossword puzzle needed to be filled within a stipulated time. Hints would be
provided for each word in the form of audio, video, images and whatnot.

THE nitr laughter challenge

Join us for an event which promises to be a riot of humour , wit and creativity as our
students compete for being the funniest comedian on campus. Get ready for a night
of laughter at our College's standup comedy competition!

FUN EVENTS

Muqaddar Ka Sikandar
This event will include games based on Indian movies with the theme of Nitrutsav.
There will be three rounds and two teams consisting of two persons will compete
against each other, the winner will be decided based on the total points scored by the
team.

PROM NIGHT
Prom night at NITRUTSAV is finally here! It's time to put on our best dresses and suits,
grab our dancing shoes, and get ready for a night filled with unforgettable memories.

For many of us, prom night is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we'll always
remember. It's a chance to let loose, have fun, and celebrate all the hard work we've
put into our studies. And what better way to celebrate than by dancing the night away
with our friends?

Neon footBall

The Urban Rainbow Neon Football is perfect for indoor and outdoor play. With bright

rainbow colors to allow easy eye tracking, these lightweight and bouncy balls are

perfect for kicking, throwing and hitting. The neon-colored graphics in the game

create a visually stunning atmosphere that sets it apart from traditional football

games. The game may also include unique features such as power-ups or different

game modes, which can make the gameplay even more exciting.

Mario super league

Join us for a nostalgic celebration of the games from the 90s at our upcoming event!

With over 620 classic games on offer, including arcade games, classic consoles, and

iconic titles such as Super Mario Bros., Contra, Street Fighter, Ninja Turtles, and many

more. The choice is yours! Choose to play solo or bring a friend for a double player

experience. In-game instructions and tips will be provided to ensure a smooth and

enjoyable gaming session.

Couple wheel of fortune

The event will be a kind of compatibility and dedication check for the couples where

they must spin a wheel of fortune and will be performing the task assigned in it for

each other. Whereas not only the couples even the single participation is allowed as

they will be paired with different people to rotate the wheel of fortune and perform

with any random person and have some fun and interactions.

Rocket league

Rocket League has up to 2 players assigned to each of the teams, using RC-powered

vehicles to hit a ball into their opponent's goal and score points over the course of a

match.
FUN EVENTS

Speed dating
Participants will be divided in a specific ratio as per the number of registrations. Then
the girl would be blindfolded and the participants will be given chance to win the
attention of the girl within one or two lines. The girl would select the person whose
pickup line she likes. She can choose more than one participants. If the number of
participant is more than one, then there will be further rounds so that only one partner
remains. Then finally the girl gets a date.

“Pushpa, i hate words”

The game consists of three rounds namely prelims, qualifiers and finale. In the Prelims,
there will be three turns and in each turn the player will be given 60 seconds and the
team has to guess. If they guess within 30 seconds, 10 bonus points will be given. The
selected team from prelims will enter the Qualifier and the top 3 teams till now will
enter the finale. The finale will have 3 rounds and a twist in the last round. There will be
a tie-breaker round if required. The team with most points in the end will be the
winner.

dil ke kareeb
The competition known as Dil ke kareeb requires competitors to dance in partners on
sheets of paper until the music stops. The newspaper is folded at each stop, so as the
rounds continue, it gets smaller and smaller. The event's basic premise is that the
team who can survive the challenging and dwindling sheet until the very end without
touching the ground wins. And understanding how they do it is what makes the game
exciting.

POLYCHROME RIDE
On your journey to the nitrutsav, do you want to stop for a brief break to enjoy some
amusement, fun and pleasure? Then, you have reached your ideal location, "POLYCHROME
RIDE ." In this event we, OSS are offering you a fun event where you'll wager on your luck and
partner to take a tour of India.

TREASURE HUNT
Get ready for an exciting treasure hunt event filled with adventure and challenges.
Armed with a map and clues, you'll need to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles to
uncover hidden treasures. Work together with your team to discover the next clue and
earn bonus points with your creativity and teamwork. Perfect for friends, families, and
colleagues looking for a memorable and fun-filled experience. Get ready to discover
your hidden talents!

SUMO FIGHT
Sumo is a traditional Japanese sport that involves two wrestlers, or rikishi, competing
in a circular ring called a dohyo. The objective of the sport is for one wrestler to force
the other wrestler out of the ring or to knock them down within the ring. As most
people do not have the body type for sumo, an air inflated accessory is used to
enable participants to wrestle.

MELTDOWN
Get ready for the ultimate challenge at Meltdown events! Featuring intense obstacle
courses and physical challenges, this action-packed event is sure to push you to your
limits. Nitro-fueled fun awaits!

PAINT BALL
Get ready for an exciting paintball event! Put on your protective gear, make a plan with
your teammates, and engage in an intense battle using paint-filled pellets. It's a thrilling
experience you won't forget!
FUN EVENTS

PANIPURI CHALLENGE
The chef club is hosting a Gup Chup eating competition for the students in batches of
6-8 members. The winner will be decided on the basis of the maximum number of
Gup Chups consumed by the students.The winner of each round will be rewarded.

Watch me whisper
"Watch me whisper" is a time-based event played in pairs or teams of 2. One of the
team members picks up a card and recites the content (name of a movie or
character or dialogue). The other team member wears headphones with loud music
(ambient noise cannot be heard) and reads the word from his/her partner's lips to
guess it. If he/she guesses the word correctly, the team moves on to the next card
after receiving the points associated with it. The team with the most points wins.

Bollywood BASH
In accordance with the bollywood theme of NU 2023, all the registered participants
have to dress up in their favourite character’s costume/dress to represent the
Bollywood character. There will be three rounds of exciting games.

Face Painting
The face painting event is performed in groups of 2, in which participants will have to
paint their partner's face on a given theme in 60 minutes. Participate should bring
their own hypoallergenic paints, colors, glitters, brushes. Only bottled water must be
used during the competition.
 Memelords United 2.0

As memes are a part of our daily life, it is necessary to acknowledge the genius minds

who make them and Memelords United is the platform to showcase the talents of

never ending geniuses. You will test your creativity and showcase it to the audience.

Talaash

An enthralling and mysterious expedition to hunt the treasure in two levels using the

hints, clues and maps and your fast thinking capabilities to reach out the treasure

first. Hearts n Hearts (formerly BnB) invites you to participate in this quest and win

exciting prizes.

Body zorbing football

Body zorbing soccer, also known as bubble soccer or bubble football, is a sport that

involves players wearing inflatable bubbles or "zorbs" while playing a game of soccer. The

bubbles provide protection for players as they collide with each other while trying to score

goals. The rules for zorb soccer are generally similar to regular soccer, with some

variations to account for the challenges posed by the inflatable bubbles. It is a fun and

unique twist on traditional soccer, providing a fun and challenging experience for players

of all ages and skill levels.

We in collaboration with IIT BBSR team are performing a Shadow Act of nearly 30 mins.

A burning topic of Drug Addiction has been chosen to create awareness among the

youths. The act will consist of different gestures to portray different highlights and

elements of the above specified topic.

Oratory field
NITRUTSAV presents an immersive storytelling workshop with Hardik Banga. Hardik
Banga is a popular storyteller and creator with over 550k followers on Instagram. He
has been a TEDx speaker as well as given many speaking events and workshops. Join
us to gain insight into how to express yourself more effectively.

Creative field
To match the footsteps in the fast-paced social media era with countless content, join
us for an exclusive session on content creation with "Nishchay Verma," an Instagram
influencer who has entertained millions of people with his videos. He will be with us to
give insights on creative content creation and how to utilize social media effectively to
reach millions of people with your work.

Queering Our Premises

This is the flagship event of Rainbow Dot for the whole NITR community on a whole.
Students as well as the staff can attend the session. A panel of famous queer
personalities will be invited to sensitize the students regarding the LGBTQIA+
community andthe queer world. They’ll be sharing their life experiences and
answering the questions of the students and audience.

Communication Mastery
Join us for an exclusive workshop on Communication Mastery with Dr. Vijender Singh
Chauhan. With over a decade of experience in teaching and academic leadership, he
is one of the most respected voices in the field of communication and personality
development. Drawing on his extensive experience as an interviewer, Dr. Vijender
Chauhan will share his insights and techniques for effective communication.
WORKSHOPS

TARANGINI
Tarangini is a multiethnic Classical Dance Workshop for Bharatnatyam, Kathak,
Kuchipudi and Odissi followed by a Classical Dance competition and quiz. Tarangini
being conducted by renowned classical dancers in India and trained classical
dancers from Nrityunjay, offers a variety of dance form to learn in a 3-day in person
workshop, to set your feat with the rhythms of classical music. The workshop ends with
a huge learning, passion and a competition to reward the best learner.

PAINTING WORKSHOP
"Experience the joy of painting and unlock your artistic potential at our captivating
workshop! Immerse yourself in the world of colors, strokes, and textures as you create
a masterpiece on canvas. Whether you're a novice or an experienced artist, our

Acting Workshop
Somnath Chatterjee, a Mumbai-based professional acting teacher and NSD alumnus
who performs in theatre professionally, will be the event's guest speaker. He will go to
a meeting where he will talk about his experiences in acting, theatre, and movies. The
audience can converse with him at the workshop and ask him questions about his
working life and how to become an actor or director.

Message from the convenors

It gives us immense pleasure to present you all the Spring Fest of
NITR - NITRUTSAV 2023 - "An Indian filmic fete", with the theme of
Indian films. NITRUTSAV is back offline after 3 long years, we have
revamped the culture of college fests since we started everything
from the scratch. Save the dates from 17th - 19th March; gear up
