Safaricom PrePay data bundles;

These are bundles whereby upon exhaustion of the bundle purchased, you will not be able to access the
internet OR if you access, you will be charged at prevailing out of bundle rates.

a. These bundles are valid for duration of time either thirty (30) or ninety (90) days as
indicated in the table below after which they expire.
b. If the bundle expires, you will not be able to use the remaining data balance and you will
be charged on out of bundle rates when browsing.
c. You can reactivate the expired bundle by purchasing another bundle within ninety (90)
days from the date of expiry.
d. After 90 days, you will lose any unused data bundle.
e. To activate a data bundle, send an SMS from your Safaricom Mobile number with the
price of the bundle to 450 e.g. to purchase a bundle of 600MB, send 999 to 450
f. The Bundle’s expiry period can be extended by purchase of any new bundle before the
expiry date thus ensuring that the unused data is not deleted.

Balance Enquiry

To check balance for all the data bundles, send an SMS with the word balance to the short code 450. The
SMS to 450 is FREE.

Note:

a) Upon activation of any data bundles, an SMS notification confirming the activation has been
successful will be sent to the mobile number used to activate the bundle. You will need to wait for
this notification before utilizing the bundle purchased.
b) These terms and conditions do not apply to daily mobile phone bundles.
c) Safaricom reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions from time to time.
