SUBJ: 2010-11 summer steelhead angler surveys for March 7-14, 2011 on the lower
Grande Ronde River: update 23.

NOTE: For last week (March 3-5) on the lower Grande Ronde, we interviewed 18 anglers in
Oregon who fished 25.3 hours and caught and released 7 wild steelhead for a catch rate index
of 3.6 hours/fish. In Washington, 137 anglers fished 721.1 hours. They caught and released 32
hatchery and 6 wild steelhead and kept 74 hatchery fish for a catch rate index of 6.4 hr/fish.
