As a recently employed young explorer for the Straits Times you
need to tell the story of the geography of the River Ganges.
Your challenge is to tell the story using pictures, cartoons, maps
and diagrams. You have eight picture boxes in which to tell your
story, and above each box there is room to put some interesting
facts or details about a location along the river. (You may add more
boxes – but do not take any away).
Start by taking a journey up the Ganges using Google Earth. Take
a note of places you pass as you go upstream?
Use Google and Moodle to search for facts and pictures to help you
complete this work. Will you win the Outstanding Geographer
Award for February 2008?
