Lines, Points, and Planes

A point is a place on a line. It has no dimension and is

usually represented by a dot. A line has one dimension. It’s
usually represented by a straight line with an arrow head on each
side. A plane has two dimensions. Most times it’s represented by
a shape that looks like a wall, floor, or a 2D square. It extends
without end.

Midpoint Formula
The midpoint of a segment is the point that divides the
segment into two congruent (equal) segments. You use the
midpoint formula to find out what the segments equal. To find the
midpoint you take x1+x2 divided by two to get the x coordinate.
Then you take y1+y2 divided by two to get the y coordinate. Then
you have the coordinate for the midpoint.
